Open innovation and crowdsourcing pioneer InnoCentive acquired OmniCompete

OmniCompete, an industry leader in high-profile Grand Challenges, was acquired by InnoCentive in 2012. This acquisition further establishes InnoCentive as the global standard for prize competitions and Challenges whose solutions have far-reaching consequences in the areas of public safety and security, human health, education, the environment, and energy. OmniCompete is now InnoCentive’s Grand Challenges division, and also serves as the company’s new EMEA headquarters based in London.
