2010
The 2010 Global Security Challange awarded $500,000 in prize money to three very worthy winners in iWebgate, mPedigree and Masking Networks. With the final taking place in London in November, the regional events in North America's West Coast, Mid-West and East Coasts as well as numerous events in Europe and Asia showed that the reach of the GSC is truly global

2009
2009 saw hundreds of entries from around the world, with 3 separate North American regional finals, 2 European finals and our Asia final, in what was a very competitive year. The eventual winners of the competition were Kromek (UK) who took a $400,000 prize for their liquid scanner technology and Adaptive technologies in the startup category, receiving $100,000 for a new digital video technolgy for persistant surveillance.

2008
The 2008 featured over 100 top start ups. From regional finals based in America, Asia and Europe, the eventual Grand Final winner was TRX systems who impressed the judges with their indoor tracking technology picking up a $200,000 prize from the University of Maryland.

2007
The 'Most Promising Security Startup' from the 2007 GSC was awarded to NoblePeak Vision with their new generation of video surveillance innovations. Hundreds of people were in attendance to see the winning entry. Interestingly, nearly half of all entries submitted into that year's compeition were innovations that originated from university projects.
2006
2006 saw the inaugural Global Security Challenge take place at London Business School. The prize was eventually won by Ingenia Technologies for their unique Laser authentication device.
