Global Security Challenge 2011

 

Rewarding Innovative Security Startup & SMEs

Now in its 6th year, the 2011 Global Security Challenge looks for new technologies and innovations within the security sector.

This year there are two categories, one for startups (embryonic companies, concept projects or university research projects) and one for SMEs.

Prize grants totalling $500,000 USD are available to the winners.

Unlike many other competitions, the GSC is completely free to enter and makes no demands on IP or company ownershir; all we are interested in is furthering innovation.

 


Entries for this year's competition have now closed.


All entries receive feedback on their innovation from our panel of expert judges garnered from industry, government and academia irrespective of how far they progress through the competition. This first round of judging is completed online (via the OmniCompete internal network) with successful entries going through to a regional finals. Regional winners then in the grand final that is held in London, UK.
